Sound Healing

Sound as a Pathway Back to Presence

Sound at Alkhemiyah is an immersive listening practice.

Instead of treating music as background, we work intentionally with tone, vibration, rhythm, silence, breath, and attention.

Instruments

Depending on the experience, instruments may include:

  • Crystal singing bowls
  • Himalayan or metal bowls
  • Gong
  • Frame drum
  • Percussion
  • Chimes
  • Voice
  • Flute
  • Rhythm instruments
Why Sound?

Sound changes the atmosphere of a room.

Sound changes the atmosphere of a room.

Rhythm changes how we pay attention.

Silence changes what we notice.

When sound, breath, stillness, and focused awareness are brought together intentionally, participants have an opportunity to experience themselves differently than they do in ordinary daily activity.

What Happens

A session is built from simple, intentional elements.

01

Arrival

Participants settle into the space and begin to arrive at their own pace.

02

Grounding

A few moments to land in the body and let the day begin to soften.

03

Orientation

Shaman Yawna Shakti explains what will happen, what instruments may be played, and how to step out if needed.

04

Breath Awareness

Simple breath cues help participants slow down and begin noticing the present moment.

05

Sound Immersion

Live sound is played in response to the room — tone, rhythm, voice, and silence woven together.

06

Silence

Intentional quiet allows the body and attention to rest with what has been offered.

07

Integration

Gentle re-entry with time to sit up, drink water, and return at your own pace.

This is Not a Performance

There is no required emotional outcome.

Participants do not need to:

  • Meditate correctly
  • Stay perfectly still
  • Experience visions
  • Cry
  • Release anything
  • Have spiritual knowledge

There is no required emotional outcome. The session is an invitation to listen, rest, and notice — nothing more.

Who It Is For

Sound experiences are designed for a wide range of gatherings.

  • Individuals
  • Couples
  • Private groups
  • Retreats
  • Organizations
  • Community gatherings
  • Hospitality guests
Distinction

What makes the Alkhemiyah room different

Three things, consistently: everything is played live and adjusted to the people in the room; the cultural roots of the practice — rhythm, voice, and ancestral tradition — are named rather than stripped out; and participants are told exactly what will happen before it happens.

Shaman Yawna Shakti facilitates from a standard of consent and clarity. Nobody is touched without asking. Nobody is guided into catharsis. The lights, the volume, the length, and the option to leave are all discussed up front, and the same care is extended whether the room holds one person or sixty.

Alkhemiyah offers restorative wellness experiences. Sound experiences are wellness practices and are not substitutes for medical or mental-health care. They are not used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Please tell us in advance about pregnancy, recent surgery, sound sensitivity, tinnitus, seizure history, or implanted medical devices so the session can be adjusted.
